Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) announced on Tuesday that rainstorms with some moderate/heavy rainfall are expected in Karachi area from 6th to 9th of May. 8.

    He also requested all authorities and stakeholders to take all necessary mitigation measures including:

    Ensure early warning mechanism for evacuation of vulnerable populations affected areas/districts in the event
    Ensure availability of machinery and personnel during rainy periods
