  • Says the massive plunder of these resources caused huge climate change crisis in Kashmir.

LONDON: Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said he plans to introduce a strict due process process in Azad Kashmir to keep public office owners and politicians involved in corruption state resources.

Speaking to The News and Geo during a visit to London, Prime Minister Azad Kashmir and Pakistani President Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) said government officials and politicians in Azad Kashmir were involved in breaking destroyed its beautiful forests to make money from the timber trade, and as a result the forest remains on only about 15% of the land, down from almost 50% a few years ago. “There is a huge climate change crisis in Azad Kashmir because these resources have been mercilessly plundered. There is also large-scale corruption in other departments. We will ask those involved in alleged corruption cases to explain their source of income and how they have built assets beyond their means. Sardar Tanveer Ilyas said: There may be many objections on this matter, but we must do this for our future.

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, multi-billionaire tycoon, says Allah gave him everything and he did not become the Prime Minister of AJK to make money. “I do not use state resources. I do this not to make money or trade. Allah has given me everything one could wish for. I am here to serve the public and change Azad Kashmir for its people, to bring about meaningful and positive change in their lives. My duty is to serve and it is for that reason that Imran Khan has assigned me to serve the masses. other politicians for several decades, but PTI was the only political party he ever joined in his life.

He said: “I met Imran Khan right after winning the World Cup. He visited our company in Saudi Arabia to raise funds for Shaukat Khanum hospital.
I have been involved in fundraising for his hospital initiative ever since. I saw in Saudi Arabia how selflessly devoted himself to charitable causes. He is the greatest Pakistani in my eyes after the founder of Pakistan. Its record in health and education is second to none. As Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan raised development funds for Azad Kashmir and was very passionate about its development.

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas met with Nawaz Sharif several times when the PMLN was in power and there was speculation at the time that he might be appointed a senator on the PMLN vote. Prime Minister AJK said Nawaz Sharif consulted him on business-related matters and encouraged frank exchange of opinions.

Prime Minister said: “I recognize Nawaz Sharif that he has a lot of respect for the people he meets and that’s why he is respected too. When I was Acting Minister in Punjab in in 2018 how he met and told me Begum Kulsoom Nawaz wanted to visit my home in a hilly part of Kashmir During his last government I often met him with business He asked us to advise him on the business. He’s got some great initiatives for the business community.

Prime Minister AJK seems to be unhappy with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif about the allocation of funds to Azad Kashmir. “The federal government must understand that Azad Kashmir is not an ordinary place, we have a special status. The Federal Government has cut our funds without realizing that we are totally dependent on Pakistan
We have tens of thousands of highly skilled young people out of work and our enemies will exploit them if we cannot take care of them. We need funds to empower and help our young people. We want to build more cadet colleges; we want to establish industries and we want to create opportunities and for that we need capital.

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas says that the federal government should fully grant various subsidies to Azad Kashmir. “74 billion rupees should have been given to us, but we received 59 billion rupees. Pakistan is like our big brother and we are Pakistan’s first line of defense. We are burdened with refugees and face unrelenting hostility from the occupying Indian army.

“I really appreciate Raja Farooq Haider. When he was Prime Minister of AJK, the federal PTI government under Imran Khan did not cut any funding. In contrast, there has been an increase in funds. I would ask the federal government to increase our funds rather than cut them.

PM Sardar Tanveer Ilyas poses no threat to his government in Azad Kashmir. He said PTI currently has 32 seats and has won all the elections. “We are completely safe. We want to focus on progress and work
